Highview Condominium II
BOARD OF MANAGERS MEETING
NOVEMBER 18, 1985

Present: Tom Finnerty, Martha Simon, Joe De Pietro, Frank Maquire, Steve Cornell, Olive Cooper, Tony Affatati

Prior to the meeting, Mrs. Natalie Gambino, l-A, came to discuss with the Board her objections to the bill for $184, which had been sent to her. This was the plumbers' bill for repairing the drain line from the bathtub in 1-A which had caused water to leak through the ceiling in mailroom. Mrs. Gambino felt since this was not an extreme emergency situation she should have been advised of the details of the problem and given the option to have a plumber of her own choice take care of the repair work as she felt she could have had the work done at a lower cost. She also objected to the wording of the letter sent to her by MCI asking for payment of the above bill, as she felt it could be construed that she had made late payments in the past. She requested that MCI write her a letter stating that she had never been late with any payments. Tony agreed.

After Ms. Gambino left, the Board discussed this matter and decided that Ms. Gambino had indeed not been properly notified and in this instance the Board would waive the charge of $184.

Also prior to the Board meeting, Mr. Elrahab, 4-E, asked to address the Board. He rents his apartment, and was in process of renting to new tenants and objected to the fee of $150 which is now required for processing of credit references, leases, etc. by the Board and MCI. The Board explained at length to Mr. Elrahab the reasons for the $150 fee and he accepted the explanation.

Minutes from meeting of 10/23/85 were read and accepted. Motion made by Joe DePietro seconded by Frank Maquire.

Tony A. Reviewed the Management report with the Board.
