Jeff Benjamin and Valerie Mondiello were the winners of the SIAC Fun Run Championship Race at Clove Lakes Park. Benjamin covered the three mile course in 18:11, while Scott LaMorte (19:10) and Jason Paderon (19:30) placed second and third overall.


Mondiello won the women's race in 20:36, with Karen McNamara (22:41) and Amy Lenza (24:22) finishing second and third for the women.

The race is in honor of Kurt Steiner and Vinnie Hutton, and serves as the first race in the Steven Lauria Memorial Series.
