The Staten Island Runner

Scott LaMorte and Mark Vogt shared first place in the weekly SIAC Run for Fun at Clove Lakes Park in 20:18.  Peter Ballentine captured third place in 20:55.

 

Rommelle Dorvil won the women's race in 27:34, with Jan Gross (29:54) and Denise Carannante (29:55) placing second and third.

 

OK, once again, Mark and Scottie shared first place.  This must be some kind of bizarre racing ritual, perhaps incorporating devil worship by Jets and Steelers fans.  We'll have to keep our eyes and ears open for that.  And thanks, Josh, for not only running the race, but picking up a snake along the way.  I said I didn't want to see it!  Is there a word for fear of snakes, readers?
