3 Mile Fun Run

Lionel Williams edged Olu Ogunjemilusi in a photo finish at the weekly SIAC Run for Fun at chilly Clove Lakes Park, with both runners covering the three mile course in 17:15. Gail Marino was the easy winner on the women's side in 20:10.

Andrew Gangemi (17:45), Sean Lynch (17:50) and Brian Meignor (18:17) rounded out the top five overall finishers. For the women, Inez Montalvo was a distant second in 22:02, with Jenna Levendosky (22:05), Caitlin Hogan (22:14) and Alma Ramos (23:54) placing third through fifth, respectively.

At today's Fun Run, Jill's Joggers ran and walked in memory of Jill Mortimer, an NYPD officer who died last October. The group, consisting of family members and Jill's many friends, provided water and refreshments for all the runners afterwards.
